A Verizon professional will get your FiOS service up and running! Set up fee is $99. Additional computers can be configured for $75 each.
The Installation Process
When you place your order for FiOS Internet Service for Business, you will schedule an appointment time for our trained Verizon technicians to come to your premises to conduct the installation process.
Prior to installation of Verizon FiOS Internet Service for Business, you should check to make sure that your computer(s) meets the FiOS Internet Service minimum system requirements. If you don't meet the system requirements, you will need to get the necessary upgrades prior to your installation date.
On the day of installation, our Verizon technicians will install the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) and Battery Backup Unit required for Verizon FiOS (if they are not already installed at your premises), as well as run the CAT5e-grade wiring between the ONT and your primary computer. Additional wiring using CAT5e-grade wiring between computers is available from Verizon technicians at an additional charge, or you may hire a third-party contractor.
In addition, the Verizon technicians will provide a FiOS Internet Service Welcome Kit that includes your installation/registration CD, Terms of Service, Service Guide, and Resource Guide. The Verizon FiOS Internet Service technicians will install your equipment, including your new router. After installation is complete, the technicians will load the installation CD, if necessary, and guide you through the registration of your service, including accepting Verizon Online's service agreement and opening your email account. Once you're registered, you will be able to experience the power of Verizon FiOS Internet Service for Business.
Time Frame
Installation time can vary; however, we recommend that you reserve approximately 4-6 hours for the Verizon technicians to complete the installation of your Verizon FiOS Internet Service. A person 18 years of age or older must be present for the full installation visit.
