Verizon Online Private Line speeds are based on the Verizon Online-provided local transport circuit connection speed within the Verizon Online-controlled network to the router on the customer's premises. Actual download speeds may be less than the line speed and will vary depending on factors including Internet and network congestion, the speed of the web sites or servers you contact on the Internet and PC, software and LAN or WAN configuration. Actual Private Line speeds will be decreased 10-20% by the layer 2 protocol between the provider and the customer's network.
